JAM – Brisbane

BBI MEDIA were commissioned to make a documentary on JAM – We completed a half hour doco and then provided them with a cut down for promotional purposes.

JAM is a group of professional musicians who share the art, trade and employment opportunities of music with communities and groups that have limited access to music.

We are focused on music as a viable career choice for children and adults. We teach that learning a musical instrument, singing, sound engineering, instrument design and song-writing can provide rewarding employment opportunities.

Our workshops are designed to leave a lasting understanding and knowledge of the importance of music in life, as a career, for health and well-being, communication, education, family bonding and team work, and for community development.

The relationship between JAM and the community continues on after the workshops. We form a lasting relationship with the community whereby our JAM musicians are available for further advice, teaching, musical activity in the community and to host community members who are interested in furthering their studies in music in Brisbane.
